Infiltration bid filed along Loc In Arnia sector, one killed | KNO

An infiltrator was on Thursday killed by the Border Security Force (BSF) when he climbed over the fence at the Indo-Pakistan International Border (IB) to enter the Indian side in Arnia area of Jammu and Kashmir’s RS Pura sector. The intruder was killed at around 7 a.m. The complete area has been cordoned off and the search operation is underway. More details are awaited. In September last year, two armed intruders were killed after the Indian army foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector.(ANI) Meanwhile,Pakistan yet again violated the truce agreement by firing unprovoked on the Line of Control in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. “Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of Small arms, automatics and mortars from 1740 hours to 1930 hours in Rajouri sector along the Line of Control (LC),” defence spokesman here said. He said that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively to the provocation. Earlier on Wednesday evening, BSF jawan attained martyrdom on International Border in Samba sector of Jammu region.
